One branch of psychology that I find very interesting is sports psychology. I am interested in this field of study because as an athlete I have worked with a sports psychologist before. The requirements for this degree is the path that consists of going to a university and receiving a Bachelors degree, then after going to graduate school and earning your Doctorate degree, then you must complete an internship, and finally get licensed. Sports psychology is related to sports and it helps athletes improve performance through visualization, and managing performance anxiety. Golf is a very mental sport and requires a lot of attention. While on the course I got very nervous playing in front of people so I sought help from a sports psychologist. I found that this helped me a lot mentally as well with my anxiety on the course.
